Professional Experience

Mr. Du is the vice director, senior partner and the head of anti-trust fields of Beijing WeiBo Law Firm.

Mr. Du has been providing professional legal services for many industry-leading enterprises for a long time, mainly including: (1) assisting investigated enterprises to respond to anti-trust investigations by the State Administration of Market Regulation and Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, reports of suspected monopoly acts toward competitors and upstream suppliers, etc., concentration of business operators to declare anti-monopoly, anti-trust compliance consulting and internal audits, and antitrust litigation; (2) cybersecurity and data compliance legal counseling, personal information protection (privacy) policy counseling and revision and special compliance assessment; (3) technology export control (China and U.S.) compliance counseling. The enterprises he served are mainly under areas of building materials, home appliances, TMT, FMCG, energy, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, finance, culture and sports. Based on the deep understanding of relevant legal practice work, precise grasp of the needs of clients in different industries, types and situations, rich legal practice experience accumulated in the process, Mr. Du has been widely recognized by clients.

Mr. Du has participated in a number of projects such as legislative research and special topics related to anti-monopoly by the Anti-monopoly Bureau of the State Administration of Market Regulation. He was invited or hosted academic and practical seminars, salons, lectures and other activities related to anti-monopoly and compliance, and often published interpretation articles, comments and analytical opinions on anti-monopoly and other hot issues. Besides, he has received dozens of interviews from Finance and Economics, Nanfang Metropolis Daily, China Business News, China Building Materials News, 21st Century Business Herald, Caixin, The Beijing News, Capital Market Red Weekly, Red Star News, Tianmu News and other media.

Prior to joining WeiBo, Mr. Du has worked for a number of well-known law firms for many years and was the head of the anti-trust department of one of them based in Beijing.
